This weekend, The Sunday Times will publish its annual Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100: a yearly league table ranking our country’s technology, media and telecoms companies with the fastest growing sales over the last three years.
Last year, OnTrac ranked number 21 on the list, which made us the highest achieving North East company to be featured on the league table, achieving 115% growth in sales. It’s a moment we all remember fondly – and with immense pride.
While OnTrac has seen much success since its inception in 2007, it still felt wonderful to be included in the prestigious list, among some excellent companies. At the time, our managing director, Martyn Cuthbert said:
“We are immensely proud of the continuous growth achieved over the past few years. Our ranking this year is a reflection of our ongoing ambition and drive for being innovative catalysts for change and improvement.”
Our inclusion in the Tech Track 100 league table in 2015 made an enormous difference to our company. We were able to tell clients – both existing and potential – that we had been nationally recognised in a league table brimming with immense technology talent. It was something that gave us instant credibility as a company, and solidified OnTrac’s existing relationships, as well as creating an excellent foundation to start on with new clients.
The exposure from Tech Track 100 offered us further acclaim, when OnTrac were awarded winners of the Growth Explosion Established Company Award at the prestigious Dynamites 15 ceremony – an event celebrating the North East’s IT and technology talent and growth.
OnTrac’s success has maintained its upward trajectory this year too. We were crowned the fastest growing Northern tech company in March, following a 166% revenue growth between 2013 and 2015, which only further highlights our continued growth since our inclusion on the Tech Track 100 list last year.
This year’s Tech Track 100 list will not feature OnTrac, but even this is as a result of the continued success our company have achieved since ranking 21st last year. This prestigious achievement has allowed OnTrac to carry out a long-term business goal, far sooner than anticipated, when we established a long-term partnership, and were acquired by the Tracsis Group.
We are still immensely proud of the success that Tech Track 100 has enabled us to achieve, and are eagerly awaiting the publication of the league table in The Sunday Times this Sunday, 11 September. We can only hope that the success we have achieved since 2015, is reflected for the companies featured on the list this year.
From us here at OnTrac, we wish everyone who ranks this Sunday, a heartfelt and massive congratulations!
